As Scotland's the country that brought us the game of golf, and Scotland perfected the bagpipe, nothing could be more fitting than a piper in full attire welcoming the participants of a golf tournament.

 

Formal evening affairs are also given an extra bit of class with a bagpiper present. The Royal and Ancient St. Andrews of Scotland have always started the day with a bagpiper.
